Yawara Martial
Arts is run by Sensei Dave Clarke. Sensei Clarke started training at
the age of 6 in 1969, training in Judo. He started training with
Sensei Frank Perry at the Honbu in Sandycombe Road, Kew, Surrey.
Sensei Clarke is a 4th Dan in Judo, 3rd Dan in Karate and 4th Dan in Ju-Jutsu.
He is a full time Martial Arts Instructor and is therefore able to
put 100% into his
teaching.
We, at Yawara Anglo-Japanese Martial Arts, hope you find this site of
great interest and we look forward to seeing you in the dojo.

Belt Success for Yawara Students
On the Seiki Juku Easter Course 4 Members took
their 1st Dan Grading (Geoff Hughes, Darren Meridith, Dave Robertson and Matt Prangley), 1 took their 2nd Dan (Kevin Bell) and 1 took their 3rd
Dan Grading (Phil Holt), all Successfully passed the Course and
Grading and will be presented with their grades at the Black Belt
Course in May.
Congratulations to all the Candidates on this
massive Success!

23-July-2011 - Club Grading Results
The July 2011 Club Karate Grading tool take place at the
Lord Roberts Centre Bisley on Saturday - 16th
July 2011.
All students attending this Grading and the Previous Weeks
Association Grading at the
Bu-sen
(Association Headquarters) Passed their Grading. Which is a
Fantastic result and testament to the high quality of training
received by Students at our clubs.

13-March-2010 - SIX VILLAGES COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & FUN DAY
Members of Woking and Lightwater were recently invited to provide
a traditional Karate demonstration at this Community event arranged
by Surrey Police

This small group pictured above, demonstrated Basics (Kihon), Forms
(Kata) and Self Defence Techniques.
